Job Overview

Position Title: Technical Support Specialist

Department: Technology Services

Objective: The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for delivering expert technical assistance and support for all technological systems within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, configure, repair, and test all technological systems across office and student networks.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the proxy server.
  • Assist in the preparation of student identification cards.
  • Facilitate the installation and upgrades of antivirus solutions; ensure the security of all technological assets.
  • Offer additional technical assistance to both students and educators.
  • Manage the inventory of all technical devices and initiate requests for new components as necessary.
  • Execute specific software updates on educational programs utilizing cloning techniques.
  • Administer user account management.
  • Fulfill on-call and help desk responsibilities.
  • Enhance network connectivity as required.
  • Perform facility-related tasks as needed.
  • Undertake other responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience and necessary certifications.
