Job Summary: Trihydro, a leading environmental and engineering consulting firm, is seeking a mid-level environmental engineer with expertise in PFAS assessment and remediation. As a member of our Industrial, Commercial, and Energy Services team, you will provide effective, responsive, and safe solutions to our clients.

About the Role: As an environmental engineer in our technical services group, you will support projects across all sectors of the company, including solvent, petroleum, and PFAS remediation efforts. Your work will involve characterization and treatment of PFAS for private and government projects. You will also assist in providing technical guidance and support to project teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Support projects related to PFAS assessment and remediation
  • Characterize and treat PFAS for private and government projects
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
  • Collaborate with clients and project team members to ensure effective project delivery
  • Develop and implement remediation strategies for PFAS contamination

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in environmental engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or a similar study area
  • Course work and lab work involving PFAS
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) having passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Proven employment history with a commitment to safe work practices
  • Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on completing project deliverables on schedule
  • Dependability, with the ability to work equally well in team and independent environments
  • Ability to travel to client sites and other Trihydro offices
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluency with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in environmental engineering or similar
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • Academic or professional experience with PFAS treatment
