As a Manufacturing Technician II at Takeda Pharmaceutical, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products. Your primary responsibility will be to complete all processes in production while strictly following cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines, and any other related regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare buffer solutions and operate Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Clean-out of-Place (COP) systems.
- Assemble and operate filtration systems, and monitor and record important process parameters.
- Complete all relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines and perform routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams and receive and distribute supplies into production areas.
- Mentor other team members and write, revise, and review important documentation.
- Work with other groups such as maintenance/metrology to ensure preventative maintenance is done and initiate and coordinate other process improvement projects.
- Requires high school diploma or GED plus 2+ years of experience or associates' degree or higher and 1+ years of related work experience.
- Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing, basic laboratory and pharmaceutical production equipment, and chemical and biological safety procedures.
- Proficiency in multiple mathematical disciplines and ability to work with both the metric and USA standards of measurement.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to work in a team environment.
As a Manufacturing Technician II, you will work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet, and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas. You will also work in a cold, wet environment and stand for extended periods of time over an entire 8 or 12 hour shift.
