Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, and restorative work
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols
  • Take and develop dental X-rays using Dexis software
  • Manage patient records and schedule appointments using Dentrix software
  • Provide patient education on oral health and post-procedure care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting
  • Utilize and understand TRIOS products for digital impressions and scanning
Qualifications
  • Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency with Dentrix and Dexis is required
  • Experience or understanding of TRIOS products is highly desirable
  • X-ray certification is required
  • Previous experience in a dental assisting role, especially in a high-volume practice, is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on delivering excellent patient care
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient safety
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying demands and schedules
