Director of Women Services

Vivo HealthStaff is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Women Services to lead our Women's Services department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical leadership and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 24/7 leadership and oversight of all departmental functions to support the hospital's mission, vision, and strategic goals.
- Ensure alignment of all systems to support the business of the department, taking into account business trends, people, services, and financial stewardship.
- Establish effective working relationships with all constituencies, including patients, families, physicians, peers, and other departments, to drive organizational forward.
- Oversee the day-to-day operational management of the department, including payroll, hiring, counseling, mentoring/coaching, scheduling, orientation, competency validation of new and existing staff, and annual evaluations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, quality of care, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services and achieve organizational goals.
- 3 years of clinical experience, with 2 years of supervisory experience in Women's Services.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, with a Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Current Texas State RN or RN Compact License acceptable under eNLC guidelines.
- Knowledge of state, federal, and JCAHO regulations, as well as the Texas Nurse Practice Act and Safe Harbor.
- Previous experience as a Department Director or Manager, with at least 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
