About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals in the Women's Services department at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse- Women's Services, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to maternal and newborn patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding and coordination of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Stay current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines in maternal and newborn care, incorporating new knowledge and skills into practice.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
  • Current Nevada Registered Nurse (R.N.) license
  • Current BLS certification
  • STABLE and NRP within 90 days of hire
  • Minimum 1-year recent acute care experience
