Clinical Nurse Coordinator- Women's Services Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals in the Women's Services department at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse- Women's Services, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to maternal and newborn patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding and coordination of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
- Stay current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines in maternal and newborn care, incorporating new knowledge and skills into practice.
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current Nevada Registered Nurse (R.N.) license
- Current BLS certification
- STABLE and NRP within 90 days of hire
- Minimum 1-year recent acute care experience
Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center is a 260+ bed acute care hospital providing emergency and pediatric emergency services.
