Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver materials and equipment to construction sites, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, demonstrating our commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Operate a roll off truck safely and efficiently, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Load and unload materials using the knuckle boom, ensuring proper securing and handling to prevent damage.
  • Assess and optimize load distribution to enhance vehicle performance and safety.
  • Identify and propose new insights and improvements to business practices, fostering a culture of innovation and curiosity.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to share best practices and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and service requests.
  • Support colleagues in achieving team goals and embodying the core value of teamwork.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of self and others during operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and maintenance as required by company policy and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
  • Class A or B CDL license for over 5 years.
  • Physical fitness to perform the job, which requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate a knuckle boom flatbed truck.
  • Comfortable driving in and out of tight construction job sites and downtown areas.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to perform a daily, 360-degree inspection of the truck and equipment before taking the vehicle out on the road and upon return.
