Job Summary:
Fueler is responsible for refueling all tractors and trailers returned to the yard daily. This role requires strong organizational skills to track, monitor, and measure fuel dispensed into each unit. Accurate nightly records are crucial to ensure all trucks are fueled on time. Tank levels must be monitored to ensure fuel availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fuels tractors and trailers
- Checks oil levels in all equipment
- Maintains record keeping of fuel
- Performs 10-point fuel island safety inspection on the fleet
- May be required to do minor cleaning on fleet
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Basic math skills required
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A preferred
- Able to meet medical requirements of the Department of Transportation (DOT)
