Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Coordinator to join our team at The Yay Company. As a key member of our lunch team, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving food items, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and providing excellent customer service to students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve food items following established recipes and food safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
  • Assist with inventory management, merchandising displays, and daily operations
  • Interact with students and staff, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience
  • Utilize technological applications for daily operations, including inventory management and customer service tools
  • Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule and reliable transportation required
  • Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards
  • Compensation: $17.50 per hour, data stipend, mileage reimbursement
