Job Title: Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Tech

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Tech to join our team at Johns Hopkins Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and monitoring various modalities of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring during neurosurgical, vascular, pediatric, ENT, orthopedic spine, and interventional radiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and monitor intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring modalities, including motor cranial nerve recording, spontaneous or evoked electromyography (EMG), spinal screw and direct nerve stimulation, intraoperative somatosensory evoked potential (SSEP), intraoperative electroencephalography (EEG), intraoperative brainstem auditory evoked potential (BAER), and intraoperative transcranial electrical motor evoked potentials (TCeMEP).
  • Collaborate with neurosurgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective monitoring during procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of neurophysiological monitoring principles and techniques.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in the field.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in anatomy/physiology, biological sciences, or a closely related field.
  • 0-1 year of IOM experience.
  • BLS certification.
Compensation:

Salary range: $29.42 - $48.59 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
