As a Medical Assistant, you will engage with patients on a daily basis, offering vital support to our board-certified physicians and nurse practitioners. Our staff leaves each day knowing they have positively impacted the lives of our patients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the physician and nurse practitioner to maintain their schedules and communicate any appointment modifications.
  • Carrying out various tasks such as triage, measuring vital signs, and collecting medical histories for entry into the EMR system.
  • Supporting the physician and APRN during procedures and ensuring accurate chart updates.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas and examination rooms, ensuring all instruments are properly disinfected.
  • Aiding office personnel with tasks including patient communications, record requests, and daily order closures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Preferred: Certification as a Medical Assistant (AAMA).
