Lawn Masters Crew Leader Job Summary:
We are currently looking for a Crew Leader to oversee our lawn maintenance and landscaping operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our services. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience leading a team in residential or commercial lawn mowing and landscaping.
- You should be able to work independently with minimal supervision, direct the activities of multiple team members, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- A successful Crew Leader will be a team player, enthusiastic, honest, reliable, and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
- The Crew Leader will be responsible for safely and efficiently coordinating lawn mowing and maintenance efforts, as well as providing excellent customer service that meets or exceeds client expectations.
- Additional responsibilities include filling out necessary paperwork, following work lists, and recording hours worked.
- The Crew Leader must be comfortable operating lawn maintenance equipment, such as zero-turn mowers, trimmers, whackers, and blowers, as well as hand tools like rakes, shovels, and edgers.
- A valid driver's license and good driving record are essential for this role, as you will be required to drive company trucks and trailers.
- The Crew Leader will also play a crucial role in Lawn Masters' snow and ice management system during the winter months.
Requirements and Qualifications:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with the following qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role with a valid work history and references.
- Ability to operate lawn maintenance equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge trimmers.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and squat for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- A valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to follow instructions, complete daily paperwork, and maintain accurate records.
- Reliability, honesty, and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
