Job Description

Fusion Optix is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to lead our production team in Woburn, MA. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production operations, including engineering, quality control, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Directly supervise a team of production engineers, technicians, and quality control resources.
  • Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules, work orders, and assignments for production equipment and team.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Implement LEAN manufacturing systems and processes to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to technicians, manufacturing, and engineering employees.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with federal and state regulations.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar management position.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or technical field.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational and managerial skills, working knowledge of software such as Solidworks and/or Altium, prior experience leading a team in an electrical or electro-mechanical field, experience of implementing LEAN and Agile manufacturing methodologies.
