Job Summary

An entry-level technician is required to perform cleaning and inspection of HVAC compressor components. The ideal candidate will be certified and able to flex to various stations, operate cleaning equipment, and read technical drawings and documents to inspect components for conformance to dimensional requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate cleaning equipment and read technical drawings and documents to inspect components for conformance to dimensional requirements.
  • Be certified and able to flex to various stations within the cleaning and inspection department.
  • Take measurements and complete production/quality documentation to record key measurements and operations during inspection.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
  • Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and identify defects.
  • Perform routine maintenance to production equipment and make minor adjustments/repairs as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items, approximately 50 lbs.
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot using drawings, method sheets, assembly drawings, and other technical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using precision measuring tools.
  • Knowledge of specialized manufacturing processes, such as media blasting, finish tumbling, and operation of automatic and semi-automatic processing equipment.
  • Good aptitude for learning and performing cleaning and inspection of mechanical components.
