About the Role

Cox Communications is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst II to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for evaluating, proposing, and implementing enterprise-class technology and processes to optimize security and mitigate threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and propose security solutions to protect against emerging threats
  • Develop and implement security standards and technology baselines
  • Reduce cyber risks through identification, implementation, and handoff of security technologies and processes
  • Monitor and manage security infrastructure capacity, size, and scale
  • Audit, document, and illustrate security practices and procedures
  • Provide secondary support for vulnerability triage and remediation
  • Accept escalation for complex security incidents
  • Lead security gap analysis, investigation, and analysis as needed
  • Incident response and Fire Marshal
  • Lead and/or manage security efforts addressing cybersecurity priorities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and two years of experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of and prior hands-on experience in a wide variety of security tools and technologies
  • Cybersecurity certification
  • Experience in Fortinet, Palo Alto, Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure, IT service desk, Sec+, CISSP, CEH
  • Knowledge of CSA CCM, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2, OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25
  • Strong domain expertise and technology implementation/integration experience in one or more areas
  • Willingness to work on a 24x7 on-call rotation schedule
