We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the operational needs of our department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating tasks with operations managers and serving as a liaison between administration and unit departments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Determine and review work standards and procedures for all associates, ensuring alignment with established policies and practices.
  • Create and manage work schedules, hours, areas of work, and job duties to ensure adequate services are provided to all areas.
  • Recruit, select, hire, evaluate, and recommend termination of facility personnel in accordance with facility standards.
  • Train, develop, and supervise all associates to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of the facility, identifying areas for improvement and assisting with relocations.
  • Coordinate with members of other departments to schedule major project work and ensure adequate staff and supplies are available.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist the department director with budget planning and management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience in support services, military, housekeeping, and/or facilities maintenance.
  • 1 or more years of supervisory/management experience.
  • Experience in the field of health care housekeeping or facility maintenance is highly desirable.
  • Strong work ethic, intense drive, and initiative for quality and customer service.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
  • Associates degree is highly recommended.
