Support Services Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the operational needs of our department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating tasks with operations managers and serving as a liaison between administration and unit departments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Determine and review work standards and procedures for all associates, ensuring alignment with established policies and practices.
- Create and manage work schedules, hours, areas of work, and job duties to ensure adequate services are provided to all areas.
- Recruit, select, hire, evaluate, and recommend termination of facility personnel in accordance with facility standards.
- Train, develop, and supervise all associates to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of the facility, identifying areas for improvement and assisting with relocations.
- Coordinate with members of other departments to schedule major project work and ensure adequate staff and supplies are available.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist the department director with budget planning and management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience in support services, military, housekeeping, and/or facilities maintenance.
- 1 or more years of supervisory/management experience.
- Experience in the field of health care housekeeping or facility maintenance is highly desirable.
- Strong work ethic, intense drive, and initiative for quality and customer service.
- Excellent written and oral communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
- Associates degree is highly recommended.
