Land Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Development/Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Colliers Engineering & Design. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing land development and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:- Prepare reports, final design plans, technical specifications, and other technical documents.
- Responsible for quality control, schedules, and plan production.
- Delegate work within the team and provide technical guidance to ensure design is technically sound and cost-efficient.
- Partially responsible for team morale, team efficiency, and monitoring performance of team members.
- Coordinate with team members, staff, municipalities, consultants, and clients.
- Provide highly technical design and quality control.
- Process plans and resolve issues with plan reviewers.
- Evaluate and anticipate design risks and opportunities.
- Assist with project and team management.
- Mentor other design staff in areas of technical expertise.
- Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering or related field preferred.
- 4+ years experience in land development or site development engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.), AZ P.E. preferred or ability to obtain AZ within 6 months.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD is required, Civil 3D is preferred.
- Computer design skills including spreadsheets and scheduling.
- Capable of preparing design on most projects.
- Possess understanding of civil engineering principles and construction plans.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
