Job Overview

At Intermountain Health, we are seeking a skilled Identity Access Management Security Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, engineering, and supporting enterprise identity access management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot perimeter network equipment.
  • Focus on network security with proven knowledge of security industry practices.
  • Understand perimeter network design and architecture, including firewalls, DMZs, VPNs, VLANs, VIPs, NAT, high availability, and other complex networking.
  • Some server and system administration experience for Linux/UNIX, comfortable at the command prompt.
  • Assist in monitoring and testing of network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports as well as capacity planning.
  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails.
  • Schedule and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs as assigned.
  • Assist in network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory.
  • Adhere to procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring network data.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated skills in communication, time management, accountability, reliability, professionalism, broadened perspective, collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving, and demonstrated experience in cybersecurity technologies and information systems.
  • Pursuing an entry-level cybersecurity industry certification such as Security+ or 1-2 years of related work experience.
  • Basic understanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Working knowledge of scripting.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database concepts.
  • Working understanding of information security-related regulations.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
Estimated Salary Range

$42,014 - $65,919 per year.
