Operating Room Registered Nurse

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and efficient surgical experience.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Judgment: Conduct accurate clinical assessments, identify patient needs, and develop individualized plans of care.
- Clinical Inquiry: Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and promote evidence-based practice.
- Caring Practices: Create a supportive and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff, and manage pain and discomfort to promote relief and healing.
- Response to Diversity: Recognize and respect patients' and families' unique differences, and incorporate these into individualized plans of care.
- Advocacy and Moral Agency: Preserve patient confidentiality, autonomy, dignity, and rights, and represent their concerns.
- Facilitation of Learning: Educate patients, families, and staff on health promotion and disease prevention, and assess and document learning needs and outcomes.
- Partnership: Collaborate with colleagues and community to develop and implement integrated plans of care, and delegate tasks and care to appropriate staff.
- Systems Thinking: Use strategies and resources to problem-solve for patients, families, and staff, and consider factors related to safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in planning and delivering patient care.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience: 1+ year of RN experience in the US, with experience in ENT and Robotics surgery on the da Vinci XI/SP (experience with both is highly preferred but not required)
- Certification/License/Registration: Registered Nurse (RN) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
