Critical Care Nurse

WellStar Health System is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients. This is a full-time night shift position, and may be eligible for a sign-on bonus and/or relocation assistance.
Responsibilities- Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care using evidence-based practice.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics.
- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care that promotes the professional care delivery model.
- Participate in performance improvement, research, and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care.
- Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments, required mandatory education, and population-specific education.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor certification.
- Minimum 5 years direct patient care experience.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English language.
