Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team at Wellstar Health System.
About the Role:This is a part-time night shift position in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at North Fulton Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in Critical Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients and their families.
Responsibilities:- Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care using evidence-based practice.
- Use analytical and critical thinking skills to ensure that care is individualized and coordinated through effective partnerships.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics.
- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care that promotes the professional care delivery model.
- Participate and support performance improvement, research, and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care.
- Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses to ensure a current and future qualified workforce.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum 5 years direct patient care experience.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English language.
- Basic computer skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
