About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety Analyst to join our team at Toyota's Production Engineering Safety Department in Kentucky. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing various large-scale safety projects, ensuring compliance with company, OSHA, and other standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage TMMK's PPE Program, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Oversee the on-site safety shoe store, PPE vendors, and other related activities.
- Conduct research to identify the latest and most effective PPE for various processes, striving for excellence in safety practices.
- Lead a team of Team Member behavior auditors, promoting a culture of safety and respect.
- Collaborate with the Equipment Safety team to ensure equipment meets safety requirements before being released to production.
- Support the Weekend Work calendar for equipment buyoffs, audits, and other safety-related activities.
- Develop and deliver training programs for New Hire Safety Orientation, ensuring all employees understand and adhere to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Occupational Safety or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing proactive safety programs.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards, including OSHA, ISO, ACGIH, and ANSI.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- CSP, ASP, or other Safety Certification.
- Experience with data management software, such as Power BI.
Work Environment
This is a 2nd shift position, with hours from 3:30 PM to 12:15 AM. The role will be based in Georgetown, KY, and requires full-time on-site work.
