Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a key member of our medical support staff, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care, assisting veterinarians with medical procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care under the supervision and direction of a DVM
  • Maintain excellent client communication and record all pertinent medical, client, and case-related information in the patient record accurately
  • Review medical records, estimates, or discharge instructions with clients and answer their inquiries about basic animal care questions and routine procedures
  • Assist with laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, surgery, dental, and nursing skills as needed
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • State Department of Regulation Licensing required
  • 1+ Years of Veterinary industry experience required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with patience and composure
  • Ability to give SQ, IM, and IV injections and properly extubate, monitor temperature, and recover a patient from anesthesia
