Job Summary:

The Milieu Coordinator-Bilingual role is a critical position within the REACH Program at Evergreen Treatment Services. This dynamic position plays a vital role in helping ETS accomplish our mission by working together with other staff to transform systems of harm and inequity to create different approaches to improving community health and safety through addressing substance use and homelessness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome clients into the REACH Milieu space and connect them with the services/resources they are seeking.
  • Ensure clients are provided with a safe and therapeutic environment where they can access needed resources.
  • Foster relationships and community building by providing patient-centered services from a harm reduction perspective.
  • Develop positive relationships with all ETS staff and collaborate with others to coordinate and deliver services effectively.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking supply shipments for the Belltown location.
  • Respond to all facility alarm activations, including security, duress, fire, and intrusion alarms.
  • Help implement systems to support clients in the milieu space with behavioral issues.
  • Support large client events and activities.
  • Operate oversized RV-style vehicle(s) as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Undergraduate degree highly desirable.
  • Academic training in the social service highly desirable.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in work related to social work or outreach programs required.
  • Clear understanding of language differences between Spanish communication in Spain and Spanish communication in Latin America.
  • Strong knowledge of language and cultural differences amongst Spanish-speaking countries.
