Accounting Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Bay City Electric Works. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in managing accounts payable and receivable, recording various financial transactions, and supporting various administrative projects and tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Open and renew business licenses for multiple locations.
  • Download and email invoices.
  • Manage fleet fuel cards and vehicle registrations.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist with various accounting and administrative projects as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • High school diploma required.

  • Competitive pay range of $50,000 - $65,000 dependent upon experience.
  • Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office, 2 days WFH) after successful completion of 90 days of employment.
