Job Summary

Care to Stay Home is seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care Aide to provide high-quality care to senior clients in their homes. As a Home Care Aide, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care activities, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Provide mobility support, including transferring, walking, and using mobility aids
  • Remind clients to take medications and assist with meal preparation
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities to reduce feelings of loneliness
  • Assist with errands and transportation, such as grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions
  • Monitor clients' physical and mental health and report any changes to family members or healthcare providers
  • Ensure a safe living environment by addressing potential hazards and monitoring for any signs of distress or emergencies
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of caregiving experience, preferably with senior clients
  • Home Care Aide or CNA/NAC certification (we offer the 75-hour HCA training to our employees at no cost)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a criminal background and driving record checks with no felonies
