Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Houseperson to join our team at Northern Quest Resort and Casino. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and hospitality for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of guest rooms and public areas.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with Northern Quest Resort and Casino standards and policies.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve housekeeping efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Train and develop housekeeping staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Monitor and control housekeeping supplies and equipment to ensure they are adequate and in good working order.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of housekeeping experience, with at least six months of supervisory experience.
  • Experience in a four-star or four-diamond hotel or resort preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
Working Conditions

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing exceptional guest service. The Senior Houseperson will be required to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

The Senior Houseperson will be required to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times, and to adhere to Northern Quest Resort and Casino policies and procedures.
