Job Summary:

Shin Imaging Center Imaging is a diagnostics company serving the Los Angeles and Orange County areas. The Ultrasound Technologist will perform a range of ultrasound procedures, including pelvic, abdomen, renal, vascular, arterial, carotid, small body parts, and breast exams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine ultrasound procedures following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Position patients correctly and ensure accurate scanning to meet physician prescriptions.
  • Input patient information, including protocol, patient history, and performing providers, into the system.
  • Complete patient worksheets in detail for radiologists to dictate ultrasound studies.
  • Obtain complete and detailed patient histories to assist radiologists with diagnosis.
  • Perform exams accurately and efficiently, maintaining patient safety and cooperation.
  • Identify patients, demonstrate compassion, and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Maintain exam rooms with necessary supplies and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors or service providers.
  • Promote teamwork by assisting other staff as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ultrasound technology.
  • CPR certification.
  • ARDMS certification (preferred).
