Job Summary:

Hoag Hospital Irvine seeks a skilled Cardiac Ultrasound Tech III to join our team. As a key member of our Allied Health department, you will be responsible for performing level I routine ultrasound procedures, utilizing independent judgment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the technical quality of images obtained and submit them to the interpreting radiologist.
  • Educate patients and families about procedures and report changes in patient status.
  • Accurately document patient information in hospital systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including call responsibility and rotation to hospital-adjacent imaging center locations.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or higher.
  • Graduate of an ARDMS-approved ultrasound program.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience, with preference for experience with adult, neonate, and pediatric cardiac ultrasound.
  • Certifications required include BLS and ARDMS registration in Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging.
