We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant PC I to join our team at Covenant Health (Tennessee). As a Medical Assistant PC I, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform basic nursing procedures, such as weighing patients, taking vital signs, and listening to fetal heart tones.
- Assist physicians or practitioners with examinations, procedures, and other processes related to direct patient care.
- Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families during visits.
- Ensure an adequate stock of supplies and necessary equipment.
- Monitor and ensure accuracy of recording on patient's medical records.
- Assist with cleaning instruments and cleaning and re-stocking examination rooms on a daily basis.
- Transport instruments to sterile processing as needed.
- Obtain informed consent after procedure has been explained to patient.
- Certified Medical Assistant required.
- CPR required.
- One (1) year related experience required, or new graduate with less than (1) year experience.
