Medical Laboratory Technician II

As a Medical Laboratory Technician II at IDEXX Laboratories, you will play a vital role in our global network of reference laboratories. Your primary responsibility will be to perform laboratory testing that helps veterinarians diagnose and treat pets. You will join a fast-paced work environment that encourages teamwork, quality, and offers opportunities for personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform laboratory testing using automated analyzers, microscopes, and other diagnostic tools to diagnose animal illnesses, injuries, and diseases.
- Set up and run lab tests, read and release results according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Specialize in one or more areas, including Hematology, Chemistry/Endocrinology, Urinalysis, Cytology, and Immunology/Serology.
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-, 3-, or 4-year degree in a Science-related field preferred.
- Experience setting up, running, and reading lab tests, and operating laboratory equipment.
- Positive attitude, love for teamwork, and ability to work reliably and precisely.
- Able to meet physical requirements of the job, including standing and sitting for extended periods, phone and computer use, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Hourly rates targeting $28 per hour, with experience-based increases.

- 4/10-hour days, 40 hours per week.
