Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Masking Specialist to join our team at Aerotek. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for applying and removing masking and plugging materials to customer products in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform masking methods based on customer product specifications.
  • Prepare raw materials for masking, including hand wiping using chemical products (MEK, Toulene, Alcohol, and different types of paint).
  • Reference blueprints to accurately assess masking requirements specified on print.
  • Monitor inventory levels and request supplies and materials to meet production requirements on time.
  • Assist in the inspection of products and notify the Team Leader/Supervisor of any non-conformances.
  • Record masking details on the job ticket and any necessary information on the work order as required.
  • Accurately complete necessary forms and adhere to schedule due dates.
  • Work safely at all times and comply with all safety regulations while working with hazardous materials and chemicals.
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner.
  • Work with a positive attitude and report any questions or problems to the Team Lead or Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Technical skills, including certification, licenses, and registration, are preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to read and write to complete required forms.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
