System Application Engineer Intern

Schneider Electric is seeking a talented System Application Engineer Intern to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field and develop your skills in troubleshooting and repairing customer systems.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting and repairing customer systems
- Understanding how to read plans, specifications, drawings, and estimates
- Managing incoming requests from customers, subcontractors, engineers, and project managers efficiently
- Assisting in the startup of control equipment at a basic level with mentor support
- Participating in basic field startup using standard startup and checkout processes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Currently be enrolled in a Bachelor's or technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical field
- Be proficient in software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio
- Be local to the Lyndhurst, New Jersey or New York City, New York area
- Have a valid driver's license
- Have hands-on experience in the field
