Job Summary

At Schneider Electric, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the System Application Engineer Intern role. This position will provide hands-on experience in the field, allowing you to develop your skills and knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair customer systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Read and understand plans, specifications, drawings, and estimates to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Manage incoming requests from customers, subcontractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure timely resolution and effective work assignment.
  • Assist in the startup of control equipment and participate in basic field startup using standard startup and checkout processes.

Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical field.
  • Proficient in software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
  • Local to the Lyndhurst, New Jersey or New York City, New York area.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Hands-on experience in the field.
