Tax Manager

Pyrotek is a global leader in high-temperature materials, with a presence in various industries worldwide. As a Tax Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's tax compliance and strategy align with its business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the tax department, collaborating with the Director of Tax, CFO, and outside tax specialists to ensure accurate and timely tax filings and financial reporting.
- Develop and update tax-related policies and strategies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Supervise, coach, and support team members in their assigned areas, resolving personnel issues and administering disciplinary action as needed.
- Communicate goals, objectives, and expectations to the local department, maintaining cooperation and support from global team members.
- Act as a role model in areas such as professionalism, service orientation, and commitment to organizational goals and objectives.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, plus a minimum of seven (7) years of professional Accounting and Tax experience in a top 10 accounting firm or a multi-national entity.
- Preparation and review of US corporate tax filings in an international and multi-state environment required.
- Supervisory experience and CPA required.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting and tax principles to facilitate training and supervision of others.
- Ability to positively interact and work collaboratively with a diverse group of people at all levels of the global organization.
- High ethical standards, values, personal integrity, and honesty.
The Tax Manager will work in an office environment, with some flexibility to work remotely when pre-approved and appropriate. Travel by land and air, both domestic and international up to 5%.
