Tax Manager

Pyrotek is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing the tax department, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tax filings, and developing tax-related policies and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the tax department, including supervising and coaching team members, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Develop and implement tax-related policies and strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Prepare and review tax filings, including Federal, State, and Local tax returns, and ensure timely submission.
- Collaborate with outside tax specialists and other departments to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax-related tasks.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance tax compliance and efficiency.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, plus a minimum of seven (7) years of professional Accounting and Tax experience in a top 10 accounting firm or a multi-national entity.
- Preparation and review of US corporate tax filings in an international and multi-state environment required.
- Supervisory experience and CPA required.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting and tax principles, including tax laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex tax data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
