Job Summary

Pyrotek is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to lead our tax department and ensure the accurate and timely completion of federal and state tax filings. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and tax principles, with experience in a top 10 accounting firm or a multi-national entity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the tax department, including developing and updating tax-related policies and strategies.
  • Ensure detailed technical review and process management for the timely completion of accurate federal, state, and local tax filings.
  • Collaborate with outside certified public accounting firms on projects, including transfer pricing, cost segregation studies, and research and development credits.
  • Supervise, coach, and support personnel in their assigned areas, including evaluating performance and compensation.
  • Communicate goals, objectives, and expectations throughout the local department and maintain the cooperation and support of global team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, plus a minimum of seven years of professional accounting and tax experience.
  • Preparation and review of US corporate tax filings in an international and multi-state environment.
  • Supervisory experience and CPA required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting and tax principles.
  • Ability to positively interact and work collaboratively with a diverse group of people at all levels of our global organization.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
What We Offer

Pyrotek offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $160,000, plus benefits. Relocation benefits may be available, if deemed applicable based on candidate location.
