Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating the respiratory needs of patients and developing and implementing individualized Respiratory Care Plans.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' respiratory needs and develop individualized Respiratory Care Plans
- Apply and operate acute care ventilators for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation
- Maintain accurate records and enter information into the hospital computer system
- Perform procedures with care and empathy for patients
Requirements:
- Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 6 months of hire
- Graduate of Respiratory Care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
- Frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and moving equipment
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Customer service abilities, including effective listening skills
