Overview:
The Cook Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Spring Engineering Co-op Program. This 16-week paid co-op experience is located in Ellettsville, Indiana, and provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in projects related to process validation, test method validation, sustaining, production, continuous improvement, process technology, manufacturing transfer, supplier, engineering test lab, research and development, and quality engineering.
- Utilize engineering knowledge to produce project deliverables and documents.
- Adhere to the Quality Management System (QMS) and its processes to meet FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain all training requirements for the position and seek out opportunities for continuous development and growth.
- Work effectively and professionally with various levels of the global organization.
- Strictly adhere to safety requirements.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Maintain company quality and quantity standards.
- Communicate effectively and work in collaborative and independent work situations with minimal supervision.
- Remain calm and receptive in fast-paced situations.
Qualifications:
- College or university junior or senior preferred, working towards a bachelor's degree in engineering (graduate students also considered).
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university.
Physical Requirements:
- On-site and hybrid positions that work under general office environmental conditions.
- Sitting for extended periods, utilizing close visual acuity for working with computers, equipment, etc.
- Personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, lab coat, and gloves, may be required in some areas associated with this position.
