Job Opportunity

Lenox Hill Neighborhood House is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Program Assistant (Part-time) to join our team at our Older Adult Centers. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service, supporting daily operations, and contributing to the overall success of our programs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide information and support to members at the Center front desk, responding to their needs and inquiries
  • Communicate the array of programming and service offerings to members daily, promoting engagement and participation
  • Assist with the distribution of healthy meals to members, ensuring their nutritional needs are met
  • Welcome and orient new members, accurately documenting their applications in databases
  • Coordinate with volunteers and instructors, facilitating a seamless experience for members
  • Maintain accurate records and data in databases, tracking member information, schedules, and volunteer activities
  • Contribute to the day-to-day operations of our Older Adult Centers, upholding high-performance standards and government regulations
  • Collaborate with staff from various departments and disciplines, fostering a cohesive team environment
Qualifications

We seek a candidate who is passionate about working with older adults, possesses excellent interpersonal skills, and is committed to providing exceptional service. A high school diploma or GED is required, and fluency in Spanish or Chinese is preferred. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated, and creative in providing programming and services for older adults.
