Job Title: Adjunct Faculty, Architecture

Job Summary:

This faculty member teaches Architecture courses, providing both theoretical and hands-on instruction in the classroom. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Architecture or a related field, with 18 graduate semester hours in Architecture. They will also possess excellent organizational skills, the ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment, and be able to teach in various modalities, including in-person, online, and blended classes.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach lecture and studio courses
  • Participate in curriculum development and revision
  • Recruit, advise, and evaluate students
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
  • Ability to provide theoretical and hands-on instruction in the classroom
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to teach in various modalities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching experience at the college or community college level
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends

Additional Requirements:

The final candidate will be required to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
