Job Summary:

The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in supporting the healthcare team at Inspira Health Network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients, assisting licensed personnel with basic patient needs, and monitoring health and vital signs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including their rooms and service areas.
  • Assist licensed personnel with basic patient needs, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Monitor patients' health and vital signs, reporting any concerns to licensed personnel.
  • Participate in patient care activities, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and providing emotional support.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a nurse aide, residential aide, or patient aide, or completion of a nurse aide, multi-skilled tech, or patient care tech course.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Welle Training (computer and classroom) within six months of hire.
  • Certified Nurse's Aide license or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.
