About the Role

Vivvi is a pioneering preschool that's redefining child care and early learning. As a Head Teacher, you'll be part of a community that's passionate about creating exceptional programs for children and fostering educators' growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the well-being and development of infants and toddlers in your care
  • Design and implement rich, thematic units that promote children's curiosity and help them achieve key milestones
  • Lead planning and implementation of inquiry-based activities and curriculum tailored to children's developmental growth
  • Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play
  • Proactively communicate with parents regarding their children's development and growth
  • Closely supervise children and adhere to robust health and safety protocols

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a Head Teacher capacity
  • Associates, Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field
  • Value and create trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Full vaccination against COVID
  • Flu vaccination (Vivvi Upper East Side only)

Competitive Compensation and Benefits: Our Lead Infant/Toddlers Teachers earn salaries from $45,000-$65,000 based on level of education and experience. Full time employees also receive benefits including tuition reimbursement, health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement savings, and commuter benefits.
