Pediatric Nephrology Administrative Assistant

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Administrative Assistant II to join our Pediatric Nephrology team. As a key member of our department, you will provide comprehensive operational support to our faculty members, medical directors, and research personnel.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support for the Pediatric Nephrology division, including calendar management, travel coordination, and expense processing.
- Assist in preparing presentations, hosting virtual and in-person conferences, and managing faculty clinical schedules.
- Act as the division's time editor and ensure accurate and timely processing of personnel and purchasing transactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including overflow work from administrative and executive assistants and filling in for the office receptionist as needed.
- High school graduation or GED and four (4) years related work experience required.
- May consider higher education completed in lieu of minimum requirements.
- Previous experience supporting mid-level directors preferred.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual with strong verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in administration, be able to think critically, and operate with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
