The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a long-term care setting. As a LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team, and contribute to the overall well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting resident interactions.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents, identifying their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and implement education programs to promote resident self-care and independence.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
