Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. This role requires the ability to work effectively with professional and supportive personnel as a member of an interdisciplinary care team.
Responsibilities- Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed
- Administer medications or treatments as ordered
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary
- Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
