We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society in St. James, MN. Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, including administering medications, treatments, and performing various medical procedures.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Document resident interactions, outcomes, and any changes in their condition, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
  • Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
