About the Role

The Bartender is a key member of our team at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to our guests. As a Bartender, you will be the face of our establishment, providing a warm and welcoming experience for all patrons.

Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in guest service, ensuring that every interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Bar Operations: Follow pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide service as described, maintaining a clean and sanitary work station at all times.
  • Alcoholic Beverage Service: Serve drinks responsibly, adhering to company standards for serving size and following state/federal regulations regarding the distribution of alcohol.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of various beer, wine, and spirits available, and be able to suggestively upsell products to guests.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Communication: Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns, de-escalating intoxicated guest situations as needed.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive work environment.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Six months or more experience bartending, with a strong track record of providing excellent guest service.
  • Cash Handling: Accurate cash handling skills and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Scheduling: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
