Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our law firm, Hinojosa Law. As a key member of our team, you will provide legal counsel, conduct thorough research, draft documents, and maintain accurate files. Responsibilities
  • Meet with current and potential clients to discuss their legal needs and provide expert advice.
  • Manage a diverse docket of litigation cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Negotiate on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct and respond to discovery, ensuring thorough and accurate information.
  • Prepare clients for depositions and mediation, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Represent clients in court, hearings, and trials, advocating for their interests.
Qualifications
  • Hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and be a licensed attorney.
  • Be an active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).
  • Have prior experience in deposition and litigation, with a strong understanding of procedural Texas law.
  • Possess excellent legal research, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Be proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and able to learn new legal software.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and manage time effectively.
Preferred Skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
