Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Dependency Counselor II to join our team at Superbeo. As a key member of our team, you will provide assessment and intervention services to clients, as well as consultation to outside agencies. This is a full-time position working days in Parma, OH.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention Services: Provide a range of assessment and intervention services to clients under direct supervision.
  • Consultation Services: Offer consultation to outside agencies on problems, assessments, and recommendations for clients.
  • Case Management: Provide individual case management to clients, including those coming out of a detox center and into a residential treatment setting, or in outpatient services.
  • Therapeutic Relationships: Form good working and therapeutic relationships with clients, including adults and adolescents.
Requirements
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) Required: Fluency in Spanish and English is required for this role.
  • Education and Experience: Combination of experience and education represented by a Bachelor's Degree with 3 years relevant chemical dependency counseling work experience.
  • Licensure: LCDC II or be licensure eligible.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Must have knowledge and experience working with adolescents and alcohol/drug assessment and case management if clients are youth returning from state institution or in juvenile justice system.
  • Skills: Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality. Must possess group work skills and competent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Technology: Good working knowledge of computers with familiarity of Microsoft Office software. EMR: Avatar.
